点评:We were excited to try this organic, farm to table restaurant for a group breakfast outing. Love the way it is tucked into the rural community, the landscaping and decorating take you to a private, soothing escape with light music softly playing in the background. The service was excellent without being overbearing and very sensitive to the dietary restrictions at our table.
The loss of two stars comes from the incredulous realization that a farm to table, organic restaurant of this caliber uses cheap, industrial oils like canola, in their kitchen. It just cancelled out the entire feel good vibes of the occasion.
To be fair, they accommodated us with other options but it omitted some selections on the menu.
Additionally, the onsite store was picturesque and novel, but prices were not posted on most of their products. Whenever that happens, I always suspect I will be subjected to gringo pricing. The pricing on the farm fresh eggs for a flat, was 280 pesos, about $20 Canadian. Farm direct eggs for a flat and purchased at a small store in town are about half that price.
