点评：If you’re looking for an authentic olive oil experience in Puglia, this is one not to miss. We booked the three-hour tour, but it ended up lasting almost four hours, and at no point did we ever feel rushed. It was just my husband and I with Luigi, the grandson of the original owner, which made the experience feel incredibly personal.
The tour began among the original olive groves, where we stood beneath magnificent trees that are over 1,200 years old. Luigi’s knowledge and passion for olive oil production, the history of the land, and the entire process were exceptional. He patiently answered every question we had and made the experience both educational and fascinating.
The visit ended with a tasting of four different extra virgin olive oils paired with a generous selection of local breads and foods that perfectly complemented each oil. It was so abundant that we were completely full by the end!
This wasn’t just an olive oil tasting—it was an unforgettable journey through history, tradition, and craftsmanship. It was worth every dollar, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Monopoli area.
