Ideal stay in a great hotel
Riu Baobab Trip Travel的点评
点评：Stayed at RIU Baobab from April 20th to 27th. Hotel is in great condition and kept clean at all times. Room was spacious and with a sea view. Room was kept cleaned and anything that needed changing was. Fresh water in bottles provided every day and if I wanted more it was provided. All staff I encountered were professional and friendly, always happy to help. Must mention Adriano in Safari bar and Helena in the main restaurant. Both very helpful and always with a smile and some humour. Didn’t really use the pool areas but used the beach most days. Always plenty of sun loungers and a choice of fixed umbrellas. They have beach cleaners picking up rubbish washed onshore from the sea, and they do a great job. Unfortunately many people just discard their cigarette butts on the sand and there is evidence of this. Food wise only used the main buffet restaurant and not the 3 separate ones. The food offered was ideal for me and I felt there was plenty of choice. Only complaint I would have is people wearing vests whilst dining in the buffet area, not particularly hygienic having hairy armpits hovering over food!
We did 3 excursions which we booked using independent guides - safari park and lions, sea fishing trip through Max with Pape as our guide ( he was a fantastic guide and his English was perfect) definitely recommend these guys +221 77 702 16 61.
We did a 3rd excursion booked through Dou Dou which was a 25k bike ride through the Popenguine Reserve and Somone Lagoon. Great experience but sadly on our way back to the hotel we were left in the car for 30 mins in the middle of a town with no explanation. Unfortunately this spoilt the experience for us.
