I highly recommend this to anyone considering surfing. It was 2 hours of fun and a surprising level of success.

点评：I booked a 2 hour surf lesson with less than 24 hours notice for my teenage daughter and her friend. On arriving for our lesson, Rob persuaded me to give it a go, too, and I am so glad I did!
OK, so unlike the girls, I did not manage to stand up (no great surprise, due to my age and lack of agility!) but the girls stood almost straight away.
Guy was a fantastic instructor who put everyone at ease and explained everything clearly and carefully with safety in mind. He gave each of us his full attention and was able to correct our mistakes to ensure we achieved our best and enjoyed every minute.
We have done something similar in Newquay but this was so much better. There is just a very short walk to the sea and the team are careful to only take groups when the waves and tides are suitable. The surf was surprisingly good and there was absolutely no judgement or pressure to do anything other than have fun!
We may come back to Westwood Ho! next year just to do this again.
