Wonderful Tour with Captain Kirt
Riptide Pony Tours的点评
点评：My husband and I booked a 2 hrs scenic boat tour with Riptide Pony Tours, we were lucky to be guided by Captain Kirt Cleveland himself.
It was the best experience we could have hoped for. The weather on the day that we went was perfect; a sunny April morning, calm ocean waters, about 74’F / 23’C, and not too windy.
Captain Kirt showed us the best of Chincoteague & Assateague islands. He is very knowledgeable as someone that has been in the area for more than 6 decades.
Funny story; when we arrived at the Eastside Public Boat Ramp parking lot, we asked a passerby if that was the right place to take the tour, and they said “yes.” The locals know who Captain Kirt is.
He shared the history of the annual pony swimming, he showed us how locals gather clams & oysters, and where you can get the freshest seafood around town.
We visited the lighthouse and got a view of the local NASA campus where they launch rockets.
The highlight of the trip was when we drove very closely to a herd of ponies that were grazing at the edge of an island. We were so close that I almost touch them (Capt. Kirt told us that we were not allowed to touch them, even though they’re very cute, PSA lol)
Ponies were very calm, we even saw foal, and some pregnant ponies.
My husband and I felt very lucky to choose Riptide Pony Tours and Capt Kirt is the perfect legend to give the tour for Assateague and Chincoteague water!

小马们非常温顺，我们甚至还看到了小马驹和几匹怀孕的小马。
我和丈夫非常幸运地选择了Riptide Pony Tours，Kirt船长简直是带领我们游览阿萨蒂格岛和钦科蒂格岛水域的完美人选！
