点评：Today, my wife and I had the privilege of stepping into “A Journey to Ios,” the beautiful photographic exhibition by Christian Diener in Ios Chora.
In the quiet simplicity of a traditional whitewashed house, the photographs revealed another Ios — pure, serene, and timeless. Through Christian’s eyes, we were invited to look beyond the familiar beauty of the island and discover its soul: the light, the landscapes, the silence, and the delicate traces of local life that make Ios so unique.
The intimate setting of the exhibition seemed to echo the very essence of the island — minimal, luminous, and deeply authentic.
We were especially fortunate to be guided by Loukas, a gentle and thoughtful photographer by profession, whose connection to both Livadia and Sweden brought an additional warmth and perspective to the experience.
It was more than a photo exhibition; it was a quiet journey into the spirit of Ios — an invitation to see, to feel, and to appreciate the island anew.
