Deeply Disappointing Experience With Irreplaceable Family Jewelry

点评：I entrusted Radka with some of the most precious belongings I owned to create my wedding ring: my parents’ wedding rings, my childhood gold bracelet, and a diamond inherited from my late grandmother. From the very beginning, I explained the immense sentimental value of these items, especially because the jewelry from my mother and grandmother are among the last physical memories I have of them.
What followed was months of extremely poor communication, unanswered calls and messages, repeated delays, cancelled or missed handovers, and constant difficulty simply trying to get updates about what was happening to my family jewelry. The level of stress and uncertainty this created was overwhelming.
Throughout this period, I was repeatedly reassured that work on the ring was progressing and that the gold had already been melted and prepared. In the end, however, I never received the wedding ring I commissioned. Instead, I was given my gold back in a melted and altered state and told afterward that the ring could not legally be made because the gold consisted of different alloys — something I had never been properly warned about beforehand, despite earlier discussions about testing the gold and possibly refining it if needed.
I fully understand that technical complications can happen in jewelry making. But when someone entrusts a jeweler with irreplaceable family heirlooms connected to deceased loved ones, clear communication, transparency, and informed consent are absolutely essential.
The sentimental value of these objects has been permanently damaged, and this experience was deeply distressing. Overall, I do not recommend trusting this business.
