Perillo Tours的点评
点评：This was a 13-day trip to Italy. I loved the tour guide, Sonya, who traveled the country with us. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and patient with my crazy group. My biggest complaint with Perillo is the lack of communication from the beginning of the year-long planning of this Italy trip. When we asked questions, the Perillo rep repeatedly told us that we had plenty of time and she would give us the needed information in time for our trip. That did not happen. I got my final itinerary 2 days before I left the US and several pages of "helpful hints" that could have been disseminated earlier. Also, we were constantly being asked for information that was on the original tour application. We started in Rome and visited several cities over 13 days. The hotels in Rome were gorgeous and the rest went down hill from there. We stayed in one place that looked like it used to be a dormitory; uncarpeted floors with twin beds in each room. The food at every hotel was the same; think mass-produced school cafeteria food. This was a great disappointment since we were in a country that had some of the best food in the world and we got none of it. There were several other things, but this will get long. I expected much more from a company that charged a pretty penny and has had a great reputation. This trip was bad enough that I would not recommend Perillo nor would I take another trip with them.
