Nice car, very bad service.
Avia Rent a Car Split的点评
点评：I usually go through Kakay to find rental deals, and got few times a good deal through DiscoverCars via Kayak. Wanted to rent from Thursday at 19:00h until Monday at 16:00h, pick up at the airport and drop off at the ferry port in Split. Found interesting offer, and got the voucher.
I arrived on Thursday to the counter and at the time of rental, I was informed that car has to be returned by 12:00 on Monday, with 59 min extension, before penalties apply and that it has to be returned at the airport, because they don't have an office in the city.
Next, the cleaning fee. As many other people wrote, you return the car and it is impossible not to pay the cleaning fee, unless you wash the car by yourself. Never in Croatia and anywhere else in the world I got hit with the cleaning fee.
Lastly, how they check the car on return and verify the state of the car is a bit strange. When I picked up the car, got all the photos of the car, but when was returning the car, they were checking the undercarriage, but they didn't provide any photos or information at the start of rental.
At the end, the car was nice, but the service is very bad. Would definitely make sure to avoid them.
