Nha Trang cultural tour - well worth it!

点评：We had a six hour cultural tour with Christina Nguyen of Zazen Travel to Nha Trang, Vietnam. From the moment we first met Christina we were impressed with her very warm and personable approach.
There was only three of us, but being our first time to Vietnam we wanted to get out of our resort and see something of real Vietnam. On our tour we visited a cultural centre that specialises in traditional Vietnamese handicrafts and art, the Nha Trang Catholic cathedral, the Ponagar temple complex that was built by the area's original inhabitants over a thousand years ago before the Vietnamese arrived and the Dam market. We had an excellent lunch at a local street side restaurant with not a single tourist in sight. It was 'real' food as eaten by the locals. We finished the tour with some local icecreams and I can recommend the avocado icecream.
Throughout Christina provided a flowing commentary, answered our questions and delved into some topics we thought may have been off limits.
If you are staying in the Cam Ranh Bay area, I recommend you do this tour with Christina. It's well worth the time.
