点评：I just had THE MOST REMARKABLE AND PROFESSIONAL TOUR (5 days, 8 hrs/day), the Humpback Whale Swim experience in Moorea with Captain Angie, Owner and Operator of Moorea Underwater Experience, and Millie, our session's In The Water Guide.
Having had the opportunity to participate on many Cetacean encounters globally, I found Angie's trip truly exceptional. She brings Expertise, Generosity, and Care into EVERY aspect of Her Tour.
Masterfully, Angie drives her pontoon boat in the dynamic conditions of the Pacific Ocean, providing a Rolls-Royce like ride. She has uncanny ability to locate and spot the Whales via distant breaches and "blows". Our Guide In The Water, Millie, could see and point out to us the Whales in the misty depths as if she was using some kind of special radar system--mind-boggling! Millie's care and deep regard for Our Group and the Whales was OUTSTANDING. And for that extra help in THE VAST EXPANSE OF THE OCEAN, Angie has a community network of fishermen and boat captains who daily share sightings and activity with each other to find the Whales.
Angie has experienced, seasoned knowledge and understanding of the Whales' surface behaviors as well; she offers her eager swimmers THE BEST and OPTIMAL opportunity for possible interactions, while also SO IMPORTANTLY adhering to the strict protective, official guidelines, rules and protocols which ensure the safety and comfort - and thus continuing presence - of these magnificent, highly sensitive and highly intelligent Beings in the Moorean waters. Angie's love, wisdom, and deep respect for The Whales is PROFOUND.
We had a rare and unique encounter with a single whale who stayed within yards of our solo group for 30+ minutes- spy-hopping, rolling, "dancing", "hovering" - after a fairly long swim, with Millie's guidance, to "intersect" with the Whale's path.
Miraculous.
Angie regularly checked in on everyone's comfort levels (rough sea conditions got the better of even my lifetime-of-sailing stomach), and offered multiple, holistic sea-sickness remedies WHICH WORKED! She brought me a full wetsuit to borrow for the duration of the trip as I was having trouble staying warm in the water with just my shorty. Every morning Angie (and Millie) gave us a briefing on conditions and potential locales to visit and implemented our group's input and choices when and where this was possible.
Superb gourmet lunches prepared by a local CHEF, fresh local fruit, delicious snacks galore - some home-baked by local artisans, local juices, hot tea (and of course fresh water)-everyday a variety of choices-added yet another level of FABULOUS!
Angie cheerily greeted us on-time every morning in her spotless and perfectly-operating boat no matter how much mess we had made swimming, eating and drinking the day before.
Angie (and Millie) offered seemingly boundless energy, enthusiasm, passion, and patience-with DELIGHTFUL humor to keep it FUN. Engaged, present and ever so kind, both she and Millie created A DREAM COME TRUE EXPERIENCE - Life-Changing, Soul-Touching.
With the risk of writing a novelette which hopefully communicates the depth of feeling and gratitude I hold now for the experience with Angie and Millie, THE WHALES, Dolphins, Sharks, Rays, Sea Turtles, Sea Birds (Angie's Chickens), Corals, Sand, Wind, THE OCEAN and THE ISLAND, I'll stop here...
