Wonderful novel family train ride, relaxing and enjoyable

点评：As a family we loved this. We were there during a heat wave so this was a lovely break from the heat with the cool breeze. The novelty of the children running the show really captivated our own children. We did a trip there and back and in the end decided not to get off as we had a pram and with the heat and three kids didn’t fancy walking much. It was a perfect morning activity and nice to be away from the city for a morning and do something unique.
Only got a couple of views out mostly just through woodlands, but provided lots of shade which was a positive. At one point you go through a tunnel and they turned off the lights so it was pitch black which is fun for the kids.
We got the cogwheel tram up to the children’s railway and it’s a very convenient short walk from the last stop on this tram. There is a small playarea in the woods very close by that we played in while we were waiting for the train.
