Wouldn’t recommend this ‘attraction’ if my life depended on it.

点评：My experience at the museum of illusions is not something I’d wish to repeat again.
The admission fee rivals theme parks and amusement centres alike(R250 for adults, R200 for children).
Though the tour is self guided you’ll quickly find there isn’t actually much to do.
What I would’ve hoped would take close to an hour ended up being a less than 30 minute stroll across mediocre visual illusions.
The staff were less than friendly to say the least which single handedly ruined the entire experience.
I could visually and physically tell that every single member would’ve rather spent their time somewhere else doing something else.
I was rather dumbfounded at the end of the tour due to its duration. I had exited the room to be met with a gift shop which left me with an incredibly sour taste in my mouth.
Though my review might seem nuanced and not justify its low rating, I was incredibly dissatisfied with the cost coinciding with how little there actually is to do.
Several places offer more to do at the same if not better prices.(e.g Mzansi Amusement Park/Happy Island, Gold Reef City, Dreambox, Axe it, Rollie Goalie, etc.)
My advice to you is to pick a different location for your family outing.
