点评:I've never seen a historical exhibition with less content. Most of the space is taken by remotely fancy AI crap which shows some animation of views of Praha that could easily be views of Padua or wherever in Europe. Additionally there is some written information which is similarly unspecific and uninformative. All you can "learn" here is utterly trivial. I don't think anybody has to be told that in former times butcher shops where smelly places. Children can play with some interactive animations of, for example, chopping vegetables - thereby learning that vegetables had to be chopped in the nineteenth century as well. A great achievement indeed.
The only interesting object in Langweil's model of the town, which in itself is really amazing. But the curators decided to presented it in a dozen pieces, which is utterly counterproductive and actively prevents you from getting an impression of the city as a whole and leaves you essentially puzzled about how what you see relates to today's Praha. That for no comprehensible reason the lights go off at some random intervals also doesn't make things better.
This is about the new exhibit, which opened recently. From older reviews I infer that the exhibition has once been worthwhile. It is no longer.
The best thing about this museum is the building and the Café in the basement where the staff was super friendly.
