点评:Our Local guide brought us here and explain the history and development of the area that stretches from Vörösmarty Square towards the Danube. And in the Sq there’s a Xmas market setup!
We were also given 3 hours to explore and have our lunch too.
The main thoroughfare of Pest during the 18th century and is now Budapest's premier pedestrian shopping street some 1.2 km long, lined with upscale shops, restaurants and cafes. Indeed bustling with its mix of international fashion brands (ZARA, Adidas, Swarovski, and H&M), souvenir shops, historic architecture, cafes, and restaurants.
The area is actually make up of 2 sections; a higher-end fashion street in the North and a more localised Southern section of smaller boutiques, souvenir shops, and cozy bistros give the area a charming, relaxed feel. We explored both. Noted that the pricing appears abit steep on many occasions, relative to our expectation & previous experience..
We bought Hard Rock t-shirts and lunch at BK instead. Then spend most time at the Xmas market!
