Amazing! We had the best guide to an amazing waterfall!

点评：We were in Costa Rica staying at a resort. It would have been a shame to just stay on campus and miss out on all the beauty and nature that Costa Rica has to offer. The resort offered tours, they seemed ok, but we wanted something that felt more local, less touristy and corporate. After a few frustrating days of searching around, we went with Pura Vida Tours…basically because they were willing to adapt the tour to our requests. And boy are we glad we did! We did the La Leona Waterfall, tubing and hot springs. They arranged transportation to and from the resort. The hike to the waterfall was fun, educational and exciting. We ran into a lot of other groups, and ours seemed to be having more fun. Randal really knew his way around, and the other guides were always talking to him. Turns out we were with the person who put a lot of the trails, ropes, ladders and the ropes to the waterfall in. The hike was fun, the waterfall itself was breathtaking. Randal helped my family get the best pictures! We hiked back and went Tubing. It was really fun, and if the water level is high enough, take the big jump!! Then we had a great lunch at a nearby restaurant before going to the hot springs. Randal walked in like he owned the place, new everyone, explained ever step of the way; sauna, mud treatment (thanks Picasso), jump in the Colorodo and then the Hot Springs. We did all that and were back safely for dinner. I highly recommend Pura Vida, it was more than just a tour…he made if fun, interesting and personal.
