Freewheeling put together an absolutely fantastic biking experience from start to finish. The trip was incredibly well organized, the food was great, the bikes were top notch, and most of all, the guides were amazing. They were knowledgeable, thoughtful, energetic, encouraging, and genuinely wonderful people who made the entire experience even better.
The Cabot Trail is a must see. It is easily one of the most scenic places on earth, with breathtaking views seemingly around every turn. The terrain can certainly be challenging, but Freewheeling makes the trip accessible to everyone. You can challenge yourself on a traditional bike or request an e bike and enjoy the incredible scenery without worrying about the hills (what I did).
The group was also terrific, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There was such a wonderful sense of camaraderie throughout the trip.
And touring the Cabot Trail with a guide is definitely the way to go. Everything is taken care of, so you can focus on riding, taking in the spectacular scenery and having a great time.
I cannot recommend Freewheeling highly enough. The combination of incredible scenery, excellent organization, outstanding guides, great food, fantastic equipment, and a wonderful group of people made this an unforgettable adventure.
