Bratislava’s "Main Square"
大广场的点评
点评：A wonderful square in the Old Town of Bratislava and home to the Old Town Hall. Some of the must-see features/sculptures on the Square include the statue's including Napoleon Soldier, Schone Naci ,City Guard Statue and beautiful Maximilians Fountain. Apparently to cater to the expected crowd there's pubs/bars, cafe's, shops and restaurants leading into Hlavne Namestie.
Every building on the Main Square is worthy of attention and like most famous squares we can see the amazing & bustling place full of life, of the locals and tourists hanging out to socialize and people watch. There are the Xmas carol’s & street musicians to add to the vibe.
We have some free time after lunch to stroll freely at our leisure, and got attracted by the fascinating retail therapy & alfresco cafes at the historic buildings at the sides.. But frankly the large Xmas market has blocked out much of the surrounding (bldg) sights as most ppe immersed more on the Christmas festive celebration.
The fusion of cobbled streets, cafe culture to the chilled winter wind make for an amazing combination, making it fast growing to be the Go-To place .
