wonder visit here at the castle
克鲁姆洛夫城堡的点评
点评：A vast complex with multiple courtyards, gardens, and the famous Cloak Bridge.
It was chilling 3 deg early Dec morning as we ascend the height from our coach parking area with our Local Guide, to visit the famous Castle.
The Guide explained both the history and the various architecture-monuments of the castle, as we were all awed by the magnificent castle set on a rocky cliff overlooking the river.
The gallery is decorated with arcades on 19 columns & there are a total of 4 bells hung in the tower. And of course The castle's highlight is the Baroque Theater which we visited.
The castle has Gothic, Renaissance and even baroque elements incorporated over the years. There’s even a large garden and an original 17th-century baroque theater. There are panoramic views of the old town just opposite and the Vltara river, from the top of its round belltower. We did not try due to the limited time, and admission also costs 280CZK for the tower.
Much to explore before we proceed to the Old Town & beyond. But remembered that part that our Guide told us, there’s a moat and bears are actually kept in there. We tried looking into the moat just like many tourists but did not manage to see any..
