点评：We visited Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival during opening weekend, and it was such a fun and unique fall experience! This is the fall event held on the Scarborough Renaissance Festival grounds in Waxahachie, running Saturdays from September 26 through October 31, 2026.
There is so much to see and do - costumed characters, live entertainment, food, vendors, fall and fantasy atmosphere, and interactive attractions throughout the grounds. It’s a great mix of family-friendly fun with some genuinely spooky experiences.
Definitely don’t skip the Mythical Museum! We loved walking through all the exhibits and reading about the different mystical creatures. It was fascinating for both kids and adults. Blackthorn Haunted Castle was another highlight. It has live actors throughout, so it feels like a real haunted-house experience and was incredibly well done.
Give yourself several hours because there is much more here than you might expect. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend Scarborough’s Hollow to families looking for a different fall experience in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. 🍂🎃🏰
