点评：I cannot recommend Theophil highly enough. He completely transformed my stay in the extraordinary village of Ganvie into an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Theophil speaks excellent English, is incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely curious, but what impressed me most was his sensitivity. He took the time to understand exactly what I love and what I was looking for, and with great kindness and subtlety adapted my experience to my interests and needs. He is also exceptionally fair when it comes to prices, and, even more importantly, a truly honest and decent person. I always felt that I could trust him completely — something that made such a difference during my time in Ganvie. His knowledge of the village, its people, history and way of life brought Ganvie alive for me in a way I could never have experienced on my own. His enthusiasm is contagious, but he never imposes himself; he has a wonderful ability to know when to explain, when to suggest, and when simply to let you experience the place.
If you are coming to Ganvie, I strongly recommend getting in touch with Theophil He didn't simply help me visit Ganvie — he helped me experience it, and because of him, this very special place will remain with me forever. ❤️
