Beautiful design and the top property in Waisai

点评：we loved the design and style of this beautiful property set on the Mangroves just a short 5-10 minute drive from the port. It was very comfortable and the staff are all super kind. A big shout out to June for her kind care and to Cristian who helped create some memorable experiences on our day tours. Though we had some problems with the food on the day tours as our allergies were not respected, we must say that their team made the best breakfast and dinner during our weeks exploring Raja Ampat.
The only real complaints were that the rooms are not soundproofed so we could hear a glass being set down next door and the sounds of the neighbours several hundred meters away when they turned on their music at dawn and their child did quite a lot of screaming at 6h each morning, which we could hear quite a lot from our bed when we were awoken. This and the problem with mozzies was an issue as we appreciated that we were in a mangrove, but the open air bathroom concept with mozzie spray, a coil, air diffuser, zapper, or bug spray for that matter meant having to be quite vigilant when placing ones cheeks down on the toilet. Small issues though that can be resolved with a bit of foresight though.
All around a great property though that boasted good wifi, style, and comfort for the price level. The swimming from the property can only be done before breakfast or after 17:30h when the tide is higher, but we did so much swimming during the day that it was not a major factor.
