Great Tours Of Italy的点评
点评：Traveling to Puglia in February was one of the most special trips we’ve taken.
We were five women on a personalized and private tour organized by Simone, who also served as our driver throughout the journey. He provided a good and attentive service, and the itinerary was thoughtfully arranged to match our interests and pace. His support during the planning phase and throughout the trip allowed us to focus on enjoying the experience.
Our itinerary included some of the most beautiful towns in the region: Bari, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Arberobello, Lecce, Matera, Otranto, etc. Each had its own personality — charming streets, breathtaking coastal views, and architecture full of history.
One of my absolute highlights was Matera. We had an exceptional local guide, Marcello, who helped us truly understand the history and soul of this extraordinary place. Sleeping in a cave hotel carved into the stone was a unique and memorable experience.
We also enjoyed immersive local experiences: visiting a traditional Masseria where we tasted excellent olive oil paired with delicious food, and a wine tasting combined with a hands-on pasta-making class where we learned to make orecchiette from scratch. Moments like these made the trip feel authentic and deeply connected to the region.
February turned out to be a beautiful time to visit — quieter, intimate, and perfect for experiencing Puglia at a relaxed pace.
We returned with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for this enchanting part of Italy.
