Very bad experience
Manitoulin Eco Park的点评
点评：My experience was bad. I came to Manitoulin Island from Toronto to camp at Manitoulin Eco Park for two days. I arrived late by ferry and the weather man was wrong in forecasting. The night was heavily rainy and we were soaked. So, we decided to cancel the next day and night. The manager was not courteous to reimburse me even though I was very considerate in telling him I was vacating the premise early. This made me upset because every where I camped, organizations that manage the premises are compassionate towards these kind of risks (weather...) and share the pain.
Other points:
The check out is 10 am which is too early. In most hotels it is 11 am.
To go to my camping ground I passed by several private properties. So it is not in the middle of a nowhere forest. It is in a neighbourhood of private properties.
The washrooms are far from my camp ground and therefor it was a problem for me at night to go/drive to the toilet especially in the rain.
I spent 12 hell hours only on the premise and I can't say more.
