A pleasant eight hour walk in the jungle

点评：Once our pick up and drop off transfer were arranged (see comments below), this was a very pleasant full day of walking in Chilean National Park. Our guides, Mr Ram and Anan (??) were extremely knowledgable and attentive. We saw many types of plants and birds and ended the afternoon watching a rhino finish up his snack before laying down for a snooze.
About a month prior to the tour, I had contacted the tour operator regarding a transfer. The booking said transfer was included, but I suspected because we were in Kassra (a 50 minute drive from Sauraha),, we would have an additional fee. I didn’t hear from them. Repeated messages through TripAdvisor did not yield any response. The night before our tour, I had to have our hotel contact CANTravels (we did not have phone capacity with our data plan) and at 6 PM, while we were at dinner, the first communication came in. From then until near 11 PM, I was back-and-forth with them being quite annoyed at their lack of communication until the last minute. It was finally settled, but I was not impressed with the lack of response when I messaged them 23 days prior.
If you are looking to see animals, this is not the tour for you. If you were looking to spend a day walking as opposed to riding on a vehicle, this is definitely the tour for you! We had come to Chitwan after a 10 day trek and really enjoyed the walk.
My final comment is on the lunch included. A huge amount of stir fried rice and mono. Very poor quality and packed in containers that leaked in our packs. I would suggest to the tour operator to use something better for carrying, like a sandwich and fruit.
In conclusion, for an active day of walking this is great. But if you are here to see animals, do the jeep tours (which we also did and had an amazing experience with!)

最后我想说说包含的午餐。一大份炒饭和莫诺（一种用豆制品做的菜）。质量很差，而且装在漏水的容器里，弄得我们背包里到处都是。我建议旅行社提供更方便携带的食物，比如三明治和水果。
总之，对于喜欢徒步旅行的人来说，这里很棒。但如果你是为了观赏动物而来，那就参加吉普车之旅吧（我们也参加了，体验非常棒！）
