Possibly Wiltshire’s Finest Beach
The Beach, Longbridge Deverill的点评
点评：A breathtaking jewel of the Wiltshire coastline
Where to begin? The sand. The atmosphere. The almost complete absence of sea.
The Beach at Longbridge Deverill is quite simply one of Wiltshire’s premier seaside destinations. We arrived with high expectations and were not disappointed. Parking was somewhere, the views were largely of Longbridge Deverill, and despite an extensive search, we encountered absolutely no sharks.
The sand itself was magnificent. There wasn’t a tremendous amount of it, admittedly, but what was there was definitely sand.
Facilities are refreshingly minimal, allowing visitors to concentrate on the raw natural beauty of the surrounding road and nearby vegetation.
For the full experience, I recommend bringing a deckchair, a packed lunch and a powerful imagination.
Forget Bournemouth. Forget Weymouth. Forget the Mediterranean.
