点评：As one of the oldest groceries in California, this was a must-visit on my trip. I ordered the mushroom wood-fired pizza to go and spent my wait time exploring the beautiful grounds. The ambiance is wonderful, especially the open yard with plenty of seating to enjoy a meal and a drink. It is also the perfect spot to fill a basket for a curated alfresco lunch.
Beyond the pizza, the selection of local cheeses, wines, and artisanal provisions is impressive—perfect for anyone looking to assemble a high-end picnic. Even though it’s a popular historic stop, I found the parking to be manageable and the service to be prompt.
As for the food, the flavor profile of the mushroom and feta pizza was truly delightful. The pizza took about 15–20 minutes, which provided just enough time to appreciate the history of the building and the surrounding views. My only critique is that the pizza could have stayed in the oven for another minute or two; the center was a bit colder than expected. Despite that, the quality of the ingredients and the charming setting made for a lovely experience.
