Lots of variety in Terrain, Lifts are reliable, but slow

点评：I have skied here for many years.
Pros: Great snowmaking and always making improvements. Long season. Big. You will be skiing on uncrowded slopes. Grooming is great. When the area has natural snow (January and February) the tree glades are some of the best in the east. There's tons of informal woods trails and the area knows we love them all. The slopes are never crowded and lift lines are minimal. Food in Traxx is good. The downstairs cafeteria is fairly reasonable in price. Rental fleet and ski repair shop are tops.
Cons: Old and slow. All of the lifts are over 10 years now, even the replacement for the Alpha slope was from another resort. They have the lift capacity to handle the crowd (no lift lines) but a couple of their lifts are almost a mile long... meaning the ride is long on old reliable Halls. The newest lift, a quad, is called Visions Express, but it doesn't actually go any faster than the old Hall that is next to it, especially since it stops so frequently. Skiers can't seem to get the hang of the moving loading carpet. We are told it could run faster, but loading gets more difficult and the cost of running it at high speed doesn't justify the misloading issues that result. Who knows. All I do know is that its NOT a high speed detachable, but it is a quad. The downstairs cafeteria is not the best food.
They ought to replace Chairs 2 and 5 ASAP with high speed triples or quads. These are the longest ones on the hill, and they could open up more terrain under each of them to handle more skiers.
