My experience at JYC was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you arrive, the entire destination feels luxurious, welcoming, and incredibly well designed. The marina itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of superyachts and sunsets against the back drop of the Red Sea... immaculate facilities, and a vibrant atmosphere day and night.
What truly makes this place special is the balance between luxury lifestyle and genuine passion of the marina and watersports/sailing teams. Everyone is SO friendly and professional at the same time, just incredibly welcoming. The restaurants on the Marina Walk, and marina ambience create a premium international feel: something out-of-Jeddah IN Jeddah!
The highlight for me was the JYC Academy. The coaching team is outstanding, everyone is so knowledgeable, encouraging, and clearly passionate about sailing. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced sailor, the academy offers world-class RYA (Royal Yachting Association) training in a safe (super safe!), inspiring environment. The facilities, boats, and organisation are genuinely impressive and rival some of the best sailing centres internationally I'd say.
I cannot think of a better way to spend my weekend, or afterwork - or for the kids after school even, than getting out on the water at JYC Academy, there is somehting for all the family with Family Sailing, Discover Dinghy Sailing and lots of RYA courses to learn dinghy or keelboat sailing and even powerboating. The entire venue feels like a glimpse into the future of the Red Sea lifestyle. Even if you prefer just the shop and dine experience without getting wet!
A must-visit destination in Jeddah... whether you want to sail, dine, relax, or simply enjoy one of the most beautiful waterfront locations in Saudi Arabia. Highly recommended, and I cannot wait to return.
