Very Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

点评：Cataloochee Ski Resort was a major disappointment. The meal area is extremely overcrowded, poorly organized, and uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to enjoy a break during peak hours.
The ski equipment quality is poor and feels outdated, especially considering the high prices charged. For what you pay, the equipment should be significantly better.
The ski lessons are particularly bad and a complete waste of money. The instruction provides little to no real value—training on your own would honestly give the same results. On top of that, if you book a ski lesson, you are required to purchase a slope pass that you will never actually use during the lesson. This feels misleading and unnecessary.
Overall, this resort is very expensive for what is essentially a 2-star experience. Between the overcrowding, poor equipment, and useless ski lessons, Cataloochee is not worth the cost. I would not recommend this resort to beginners or anyone looking for quality instruction or good value.
