点评：We checked into a very falsely advertised vacation rental . La terrazza di Marta. In Varenna. The rental was up a staircase that was under heavy construction over seventy steps steep and spiral behind a locked heavy metal gate. The apartment was dirty dusty and not comfortable. The bedding and towels poor quality . The sofa which I believe was to be a second bed was Rey shabby. The iron and ironing board had plastic stuck to it and ruined a shirt of mine . The pictures in the web site totally deceiving. When I complained to Varenna holidays they claimed that they had nothing to do with the construction that was taking place in the common stairway to get to the apartment ! Hanging wires steep broken stairs dust and NOISE. The access to the apartment is treacherous BEWARE . The rental company took no responsibility for this and claimed they only rent the apartments they don’t “own them” . You cannot access this apartment unless you go into and through the heavy construction site which by the way shares with a fish prep kitchen who dry crush in the stairwell !
