The ski school is awful. Hire an instructor online, not directly from the resort.

点评：My experience was with the Beaver Creek Ski & Snowboard School at Beaver Creek Resort. I booked a $1,800 full-day private ski lesson as a first-time skier, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
Before booking, I called the ski school and specifically asked for an instructor experienced with beginners. I was told Anthony would be assigned. On the day of the lesson, Anthony never showed up, and after waiting I was reassigned to another instructor at the last minute.
During the lesson I was taken to a larger area before I had fully practiced stopping and control, which led to two hard falls on my left side. After that I was in pain and had to stop the lesson after about two hours.
Since the lesson was prepaid for a full day, I asked the ski school if I could complete the unused portion the following day or apply the remaining value toward a group lesson. I felt that was a very reasonable request.
Unfortunately, the ski school refused both options and only offered a very small credit that required paying another large amount of money to continue instruction.
I attempted to resolve the issue directly with them by email and in person, but management focused on defending their position rather than working toward a fair solution.
Beaver Creek is a beautiful resort, but given the very high cost of private lessons, I expected a much more customer-focused approach—especially for someone learning to ski for the first time.
