Don’t Let the Low Rating Fool You — We Had the Best Time!

点评：My husband, our 4-year-old, and I spontaneously decided to come here after spending the day in Greenwich. We were just looking to get a little breather from the city, and somehow this ended up being the highlight of our day.
I was actually moved to write this review because I noticed the low rating. I have to admit; I’m someone with pretty high standards when it comes to places like this. When I look at pictures of smaller amusement parks, I usually need to be really impressed before I’ll make the effort to go. Even when I look at pictures of places like LEGOLAND, I’m sometimes thinking, “Meh…” And honestly, even the pictures of Playland didn’t do much for me.
But we were nearby, so we figured, why not? We wanted to do something fun for our son, and I am SO glad we decided to go.
This place is such a cute little amusement park, and it was incredibly affordable. For non-residents, it was only $25 for unlimited rides. That’s amazing. We paid $50 total, and our son was able to ride plenty. My husband and I even took turns using one of the wristbands for some of the adult rides, which made it even more worth it.
The crowd level was honestly perfect. It wasn’t super crowded, but it was lively enough that the park still felt fun and energetic. Some rides had no line at all, while others had short waits. And when there was a line, it was just long enough to give you that little bit of anticipation without making you feel like you were wasting your day waiting around.
The park itself was really pleasant. The flowers were beautiful, everything felt clean and well-kept, and the lights were really pretty as it started getting later. The weather happened to be cool and comfortable when we went, which made the whole experience even better.
Most importantly, the kid had an absolute blast. And honestly, so did we.
I think sometimes pictures online don’t capture the charm of a place like this. It may not look spectacular in photos, but once you’re actually there, it has a really nice atmosphere. It felt like one of those simple, spontaneous family outings that you end up remembering.
We went in with pretty low expectations and left thinking, “That was the best decision ever.”
If you have young kids and you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend giving it a chance!

这是个超级可爱的小游乐园，而且价格极其实惠。非当地居民只需花25美元就能无限次乘坐所有游乐设施呢。太棒了。我们总共只花了50美元，儿子可以尽情玩各种游乐项目。我和丈夫还轮流戴着腕带去体验那些适合成人的游乐设施，这让我们觉得这笔钱花得太值了。
人流量也恰到好处：虽然不算特别拥挤，但又足够热闹，让整个公园充满乐趣与活力。有些游乐设施甚至无需排队，其他的也只需等待很短的时间。而当确实需要排队时……这个时间长度刚刚好：既能勾起你的期待感，又不会让你觉得自己在无聊地浪费时间等待。
公园本身也非常宜人。花朵娇艳美丽，整个地方干净整洁，随着天色渐晚，灯光也显得格外迷人。我们去的时候天气凉爽舒适，这让整个体验更加美好。
最重要的是，孩子玩得开心极了。说实话，我们也一样。我觉得有时候网上的照片并不能展现出这类地方的魅力。虽然在照片里它可能看起来没什么特色，但真正身临其境时，那里的氛围真的很棒。这就像是那种简单又随意的家庭出游，事后想起来仍觉得十分美好。
