点评：The exterior of the building might be off putting but the artifacts inside are worth a visit. There are some European examples and many from the Coney Island carvers and Philadelphia Toboggan Company There are also a number of pieces from the Fleer Collection on display The staff we were fortunate enough to meet were enthusiastic and friendly and proud of the beautiful carousel figures on display Unfortunately information was sketchy or missing altogether There was no printed materials offered ,no map or brochure and none minimal signage or photos of process to expound on what you were seeing We were told more extensive information on them will soon be available in digitized form which would be a huge help in appreciating the various pieces A highlight was the restoration workshop on the second floor The artisan there was a wealth of information and very willing to spend time explaining the craft
