Don't hesitate - visit it - it's worth it
Brunnenburg Agricultural Museum的点评
点评：Even though there is another "Schloss" very close and it has a special attraction with birds going on, the BRUNNENBURG is absolutely worth getting to know. The family who is living there and taking care of the castle is so kind and friendly, that this itself gives such a welcoming feeling. And his two small kids running around with him... Such a sweet picture. The man who guided us seemed to be a very honest man, with the heart on the right spot. Showing us the Burg with such kindness and love for this building, that you are almost time travelling within this experience.
The beautiful rooster greeted us with some suspicious looks and the small lizards everywhere were the eyecatcher for my nephew, who is a huge knights-lover.
The Burg itself is simply beautiful and the view breathtaking. You can see where they used the rocks from the mountain to build this castle and where they put walls up by hands. Impressive.
I'm a huge door-fan, so I couldn't keep my eyes away from the doors. Also, the little indoor-pond was something that I have never seen before in a castle.
They have a huge collection of tools used on the fields, for making food, and other important crafts.
The "Rittersaal" was a real highlight. My nephews eyes lit up, when he was able to touch a real knight's sword.
Summing up - go there! Check it out. Just be aware that they are closed 2 days per week. But you can check this online easily.
