点评:I have been going to Gilgo Beach for about 3-4 years with my children. The first plus is that the beach is far less populated than Robert Moses State Park beach, which is in the general area. The parking lot is also less of a walk, which is important when carrying the day's beach supplies from the car to one's spot on the actual beach. I have never tried to Gilgo Beach Inn food as I bring our own food. The mornings are excellent with the low numbers of people but by lunch it does start to get crowded and there are the beach bummers like people vaping, drinking alcohol and blasting music very close to one's spot, making one move at times so one can again hear the sound of the ocean and not someone's music selections. There are many garbage cans allowing for easy clean up. The beach costs more than Robert Moses State Park or Jones Beach but I think the less people numbers and parking proximity are major pluses for those people who find this important.
