Brahma Temple的点评
点评：We specifically wanted to visit the Brahma Temple in Pushkar so chose a hotel close by to the temple. That helped us a lot as we could visit the temple multiple times across the 3 days we were in Pushkar. We completed the darshan in 45 min in the first visit and then in about 30 min in the next two visits.
It is not a very large temple in size though the courtyard is big. One needs to climb few stairs on the way to the top. One can remove footwear at the flower shops outside the temple. There is a queue to see the Brahma statue and once one reaches in front of the statue, one can either do a very quick darshan from behind or can get into a little jostling in front of the statue. There is a barricade after which only priests are there. One cannot take out photographs of the Gods even though a few people did so.
The temple is not very magnificent or richly done up or decorated but is nevertheless one of the 3 main Gods of the Hindus.
Definitely worth a visit and preferably early morning or late evenings when the crowds are relatively lesser.
Brahma was cursed that he would not be worshiped, hence if one finds anyone selling statues of Brahma outside, they need not be purchased for praying purposes.
