点评:Paul was our guide, and he picked us up punctually from the cruise terminal, and off we went. An information packed tour of the city was had, visiting the beautiful public gardens where we enjoyed a lovely stroll. Up to the Citadel we drove, where we arrived in time to see the noon cannon fired and the changing of the guard in front row positions. A superb lunch of seafood chowder and a lobster roll was enjoyed at Dartmouth, before heading to the picturesque fishing village of Fisherman's Cove, where we again enjoyed a stroll and shopping. This is just a brief summary. The day was packed with historic visits to the Halifax Explosion burial sites, Titanic burial sites and brilliant explanations of what occurred and the resultant chaos and distress of those impacted. We learned about the architecture of Halifax, the citizens who made a difference and SO much more. Thank you, Paul McNeil, from a small group of very happy Australians.
