点评：On Sunday May 3rd, my friend and I booked a private snorkel tour with Damien Ortiz at Vieques Snorkel Tours. It was perhaps one of the best snorkel experiences I’ve ever had. Booking was so easy and Michelle, who coordinated the excursion, was super helpful, even offering prescription masks for those who wear glasses.
We arrived at the bay and were met by Damien, who gave us a thorough explanation of what we would be doing. He helped us fit our fins and then our masks which were clean and high-quality. Damien was charming and helpful answering all of our questions about the area as we headed out into the bay toward the reef.
And he has a great eye! We saw more turtles and more rays in a short period of time than I’ve ever seen snorkeling in Mexico. He pointed out many different species of fish and knew all of the best spots on the reef. In addition, he took so many great pictures and videos of our trip that we can share with family and friends. One of the best features was that the provided life-vests were not inflated (although we could’ve quickly inflated them if necessary) but I was able to dive down easily to interact with the many schools of fish that we saw. It was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend Vieques Snorkel Tours. You won’t regret sharing part of your vacation with this fantastic team!
