Staff didn't allow day-before pick-up for no good reason, rude treatment

点评：On february 18 we arrived around 4pm to pick up our next day rental in order to have an early start on the 19th. However, the guy attending rental pick up had a terrible attitude, he literally didn't want to give us the gear. There was no rain or snow that day and forecasts for the following day mentioned snow at around 4pm, so there was no real risk about the hike getting cancelled. He was insistent about that possibility and although we said we could check before starting on the 19th he didn't cooperate. We told him we wanted to save time for the following day and he said "you won't". My boyfriend asked him at what time would the forecast/permission to do the hike would be available the following day and he rudely answered : "that's not how weather works", when the answer we were looking for was the fact that the park rangers check the hike around 7am. We gave up and left empty handed, compelled to go back the following day at 8am. The guy on the 19th was nice and helpful but there's no way around the fact that the first guy only impeded our early and safer start. It was annoying and wierd given I was aware of the fact that we could pick up the day before and added the note to our reservation saying we would.
