点评:As part of my drive through the Tasman National Park the Remarkable Cave was our first stop. Here one needed to display their national parks pass to avoid ticketing.
It also turned out to be the only one on my must see list due to the closure of the road to Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen for a renovation project.
The cave was a short drive from Port Arthur Historic Site. Car and oversized parking was available in a paved lot. Also a rare restroom was here as well.
The walk to the cave was marked as 10 minutes and involved stairs. It was well maintained with an interim viewing platform of an inlet about midway. Everyone had to stay on the platform to view the cave but all the footprints on the sand in front of the cave told another story.
When viewing the cave from just the right angle one could see the outline of Tasmania. It was a beautiful sight to see when the waves were breaking inside.
We had the platform practically to ourselves in April so we were able to linger a bit.
