Kali & Kato's Rarotonga Turtle Tours的点评
点评：First day in Raro and it was pissing down non-stop, but who knew a turtle tour would end up making my day! Recommended by a colleague, I booked in advance—great comms and super easy booking.
I'm not the best swimmer, and I was with my mum who can't swim to save her life, but we went for it anyway. Anxiety overload! But I stayed focused on reaping the rewards of seeing the underwater world, and it did not disappoint. The water was a staggering 25 meters deep—plunging into those dark depths was pure drama, but it was crystal clear all the way down.
There were so many turtles of all shapes and sizes, and the rays were just dancing down on the ocean floor. Turtle sanctuary at its finest. I didn't have much hope of seeing rays, but man was I wrong!
The water was shockingly calm regardless of the rain, and we were in a nice small group. The staff are super friendly—mum basically had 3 lifeguards on standby the whole time, which put us completely at ease. They also take photos of you all throughout the tour, which made it so special since all you have to do is be present and enjoy the view.
10/10, couldn't recommend Kali & Kato's enough!
