Simply excellent - food, wine, service, ambience and view. Well worth the visit.

点评：This was my first visit to The Restaurant at Newton Johnson vineyards since Alex and Ella Rykaart took over 3 months ago. The menu is not large but we were able to choose 3 different starters which were all excellent. The burrata was fresh and tasty, the springbok tartar was really good and the raw yellowtail was also great. We chose the line fish (cape salmon) and the langside beef sirloin and they were also excellent. We had room for only one dessert (to share) and chose the semifreddo. This was also excellent although quite sweet with honeycomb and honey.
The ambience was lovely and the view, as always, was spectacular. The hosts were attentive as was our server, Hazel.
I highly recommend the restaurant which is perfect for people visiting Hermanus or nearby places. Can’t wait to go back on my next visit to the Cape.

我强烈推荐这家餐厅，对于来赫曼努斯或附近地区旅游的人来说，这里是绝佳的选择。我已经迫不及待地想在下次去开普敦的时候再次光顾了。
