Salmonid Interpretation Centre的点评
点评：I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from this Centre, but for a small attraction, it packed a lot of punch and was extremely interesting. You pay admission at the gift shop, and take some stairs to the interpretive center. There you can view salmon waiting to swim upstream through a plexiglass window and watch a short video. I was hoping the video would be about the building of the Interpretive Centre itself, but it was about Canada’s efforts in general to protect marine life with the building of hydroelectric plants. Not that interesting. You then walk a short distance to see the salmon viewing area where you can actually see salmon jumping to the various pools. Another short path takes you to an overlook of the falls. This is definitely worth the small admission fee. There is a nice restaurant where you can have breakfast until 11 a.m. or lunch after. There are nice, clean restrooms and a large parking area as well.
