点评：We had the very best experience with Laka on our tuk tuk tour around the city and when you meet him you will want to spend more time with him. He is a wonderful vivacious, funny person who will share with you his knowledge and experience. His positivity and desire to ensure you have the best experience puts him head and shoulders above anyone else. You do not just get taken places, you are provided with the context and the history. He will happily answer any questions and there is no such thing as a stupid one (I know this as I asked many!). We were deeply appreciative of him on our tuk tuk tour and we talked about other places we wanted to see and things we wanted to do. Laka arranged a bespoke tour for us to take in Anuradhapura, a climb up Pidurangala (over looking Lion Rock) and the Dambulla Caves. It was a long day but worth it to spend time with and learn from Laka and one of his team. I will be forever grateful to him for allowing us to share special moments at Anuradhapura and without his encouragement, patience and direction I know I would not have made it to the top of Pidurangala to experience the amazing views - it really is worthwhile and you’re always “almost there”!
Laka is a truly special person his vibrancy and enthusiasm are infectious, and even though our time together was brief, he touched our spirits deeply we know we have gained a friend for life and saying goodbye to him was genuinely sad. He truly encapsulates what Sri Lanka is about….a feeling deep inside with warmth, generosity, vibrancy and joy. If you’re in Kandy, don’t miss the opportunity to have your life enriched by his energy, he is absolutely the only person (along with his team) we would recommend
