An unforgettable, ethical animal experience

点评：I had the most wonderful experience at Cuddly Colony! Spencer and her husband do incredible work rescuing and rehabilitating sugar gliders; animals that, sadly, are often misunderstood and not well cared for as pets. Their focus on education and welfare really shines through, and I loved that everything was done entirely on the animals' terms.
My friend and I learned so much during our visit. The experience was meant to be forty-five minutes, but since Spencer and I both work in animal rescue, we couldn't stop chatting and ended up staying nearly two hours!
The sugar gliders were adorable. They snuggled in their pouches on our laps and popped their tiny heads out for treats.
It's the kind of animal encounter I wish there were more of: compassionate, educational, and respectful. I left feeling inspired, informed, and completely smitten.
(Oh, and meeting Chuck and Squab, Spencer's rescue dogs, was the extra highlight I didn't know I needed!)
