Dark of the Moon Ghost Tours的点评
点评：Did this tour about 10 years ago and boy, has it gone downhill since. Basically, you are paying $30 a person to hear a ghost story and then walk around in the dark. The ghost story talks about two chairs in the basement. People in one of the three tours the night we went decided to either linger on the chairs for several minutes while attempting some sort of seance, or vlogging their attempts to summon ghosts. Very weird. The last time we went this was a regulated part of a tour. When you have kids wanting to experience that and can’t because of the selfishness of others, and the staff not regulating it, it’s disappointing.
The guides also basically sit around and watch everyone explore the property. There were enough guides to give group tours through the keeper’s house and barracks. But instead, a ten minute story, then released on your own in total darkness. So if you are hoping to see artifacts, this isn’t for you. You can’t really see anything. Go during the day (the lighthouse and property are awesome…this review is specific to the ghost experience).
To top off the $30 price tag, you are CHARGED EXTRA for an EMF reader.
Really unfortunate. The tour was five stars a decade ago…now I struggle to give it two (earned a star because the guide was nice).
