点评:Bollinger management should be aware of how paying guests are being treated here.
We booked and fully paid for a tour at Bollinger. Unfortunately, we arrived approximately 20 minutes late — something we fully acknowledge.
However, what happened afterward was unacceptable.
No one contacted us to ask whether we were on our way. When we arrived, we were simply refused the experience we had already paid for. We asked for ANY reasonable solution: joining the remainder of the tour, a shortened visit, rescheduling, a credit, or another available option.
We were offered nothing. Bollinger kept the full payment while providing absolutely no service.
But by far the most disturbing part was the behavior of the staff: they laughed at us to our faces.
While we were standing there trying to calmly understand the situation and find a solution, members of the staff laughed at us directly in front of us. We were paying guests asking for help, and instead of being treated professionally or with basic respect, we felt openly mocked and humiliated.
Being refused a tour because of a 20-minute delay is one thing. Being laughed at by staff while they send you away and keep your money is something entirely different.
For a Champagne house with Bollinger’s international reputation, we found this behavior shocking and deeply unprofessional.
We are documenting the incident and will be contacting Bollinger management directly regarding both the handling of our paid booking and, especially, the conduct of the staff involved. We will also consider the appropriate consumer complaint channels available in France if the matter is not addressed.
To be very clear: we acknowledge that we were late. We are not disputing that.
What we are questioning is how a luxury house of this reputation considers it acceptable to provide no service, offer no alternative whatsoever, retain the full payment, and then laugh in the faces of the customers asking for help.
We sincerely hope senior management investigates what happened, because no customer should be treated this way.
