Peaceful, intimate tour with beautiful grounds

点评：We visited Kentuck Knob later in the day, after touring Fallingwater, and it was a wonderful second Frank Lloyd Wright experience.
The tour began with a short shuttle ride from the visitor center up to the house. Our group was small—just our family and another couple—which made for a more personal and relaxed experience. Our guide shared helpful insights into the home’s design, including its Usonian style, which was Wright’s vision for more modest, functional homes that blend with nature.
Kentuck Knob feels quieter and simpler compared to Fallingwater. It has fewer original Wright-designed furnishings, and the setting is peaceful. We also enjoyed learning a bit about the home’s ownership history.
After the tour, you’re free to explore the grounds at your own pace and walk back down to the parking area. The sculpture garden throughout the property was lovely.
