Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo的点评
点评：We bought our tickets on Groupon 2 kids aged 4&11 and 2 adults it was around $50 for the 4 of us. When we checked in we did have to pay $4 due to not being charged KY taxes. Golf carts are available but we did not choose this & I did not regret our decision.
If you need cash for the feedings you’re able to get tokens with a credit card or able to break your bigger bills and get 1’s.
We got there a bit after opening at 9am and did started off with the cave tour. The times are all listed on the map for the animal shows, cave tours, and ect. Our guide Bobby was very informative & kind. The tour was short and sweet and gave the kids a taste as this was our first cave tour ever!
Feeding the lorikeets we paid $1 ea & the birds were friendly and kind of “jumped” and swooped on us fast. It’s a bit startling at first but was a great experience. We were lucky and didn’t get pooped on lol. It was neat seeing them up close using their tongue.
Goats and Emu had 2 4oz cups for $5 or smaller for $1. These were still fun, as it’s more common for petting zoos to have the option to feed goats. Throwing an Emu in there was cool. The Emu does peck down a bit hard so it’s a bit “scary” but, doesn’t hurt.
We made an animal show and were able to hold a snake, pet a turtle, and head bang with a bird. Very cool, informative & interactive.
The Kangaroos were a total hit! They are very sociable & gentle. They also had a 4oz 2 for $5 feeding and smaller $1 option. I’d definitely get the bigger cup! it’s a fun experience and my boys didn’t want to leave this one!
Afterwards we went to the Amish restaurant that shares the same parking lot. DELICIOUS!

山羊和鸸鹋的喂食方式是：两杯4盎司的奶5美元，小杯1美元。虽然喂食方式比较少见，但喂山羊还是很有趣的。能喂到鸸鹋也挺有意思的。鸸鹋啄人有点用力，所以有点“吓人”，但并不疼。
我们还体验了动物表演，抱了蛇，摸了乌龟，还和鸟儿一起玩了头碰头的游戏。非常酷，既有教育意义又互动性强。
袋鼠大受欢迎！它们非常亲人，也很温顺。喂食方式也是：两杯4盎司的奶5美元，小杯1美元。我肯定会选大杯的！这真是一次有趣的体验，我的孩子们都不想离开！
之后我们去了和动物园共用一个停车场的阿米什餐厅。味道好极了！
